Principal Duties and Responsibilities
As a member of the nephrology healthcare team, you will provide safe and effective dialysis therapy under the supervision of a licensed nurse:
Set up, test, and operate hemodialysis machines for treatments.
Record pre- and post-treatment vital signs and patient weight.
Evaluate vascular access and perform cannulation.
Monitor and respond to intradialytic problems.
Evaluate and terminate dialysis treatment according to procedures.
Report changes in patient condition to supervisor.
Enter treatment data accurately and timely.
Prepare and store lab samples per specifications.
Clean and disinfect machine surfaces, chairs, and work areas.
Assist with patient education.
Organize and use supplies efficiently.
Education and Licenses
High school diploma or GED required.
Experience and Required Skills
Desired traits: dependable, compassionate, caring, collaborative, and reliable.
Previous patient care experience in hospital or similar setting preferred, but not required.
Employment dependent on successful completion of Fresenius training program and CPR certification.
Physical Demands and Working Conditions

Involves computer work, patient interaction, and local travel.
Healthcare facility environment with moderate noise and exposure risks.
Requires heavy lifting, prolonged standing, bending, pushing/pulling, and assisting with patient mobility.
Two-person assist and material assist devices are used for heavier tasks.
Additional Information
This position is not open to seasonal hires .
No prior dialysis experience required-we offer paid training .
No overnight shifts, on-call shifts, or Sundays .
Benefits begin after 30 days of employment .
